What Plausible does
Plausible Insights OÜ provides cookie-less website analytics with full data residency in the EU. The script is ~1KB, runs without consent banners, and gives only aggregated session-level metrics — no personally identifiable information, no cross-site tracking, no cookies. Founded by independent owners, not VC-funded, EU-incorporated.
How we use it
Marketing-site analytics, switched on at public launch. Until then the script is conditionally loaded based on the PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAIN env var (currently empty → no script ships). Custom events for signup_started, lead-magnet downloads, manifesto_read_to_end, etc. The no-cookie posture removes the need for a GDPR consent banner — and we can advertise that.
Why this integration is on our list
Every entry in our integration directory is EU-incorporated. The sovereignty story breaks if any link in the chain is US-jurisdictional. Plausible is part of the chain that lets us deliver the EU Pledge as a contractual commitment, not a marketing claim.
