What Nextcloud does
Nextcloud GmbH develops the open-source Nextcloud server, plus a hosted/managed offering. German-incorporated. Provides Drive-equivalent file sync, document collaboration (built on Collabora Online), calendars, contacts, and increasingly office-suite functionality. Adopted by many German governments and EU public-sector institutions.
How we use it
Customers who use Nextcloud for sovereign file storage can paste Nextcloud share links into our chat and they unfurl cleanly. We do not require Nextcloud — but if you have it, the integration is natural. Mutual partner-directory listing; deeper integration (Nextcloud Talk handoff, embedded file preview) is on the v2 evaluation list.
Why this integration is on our list
